The Chambre de la Tour is so named because it has a secret door leading to the spiral staircase in the 15th century tower - and, via that, to the Marquise’s bathroom! It is in the original 15th century wing of the chateau and is furnished with French antiques. It has a vintage hand blocked wallpaper, and remnants of the matching fabric have been used to trim the curtains.
The double bed is nestled in a traditional French alcove, and the alcove cupboard has been ingeniously transformed into a small shower room. There is a kettle to make tea in the teapot or to fill the hot water bottle provided.
